North Dakota Lotteries

The North Dakota Lottery is run by the government of North Dakota and offers a variety of lottery games, including scratch-off tickets and draw games such as Powerball, Mega Millions, and Lucky for Life. In order to play, you must be at least 18 years old and physically located within the state of North Dakota.

• Hot Lotto: Players select five numbers from 1 to 47 and one Hot Ball number from 1 to 19. Drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday.

• Scratch-off tickets: These are instant win games that come in a variety of themes and price points.

The North Dakota Lottery also offers a number of electronic games, including Pull-Tabs and Fast Play games, which are similar to scratch-off games but do not require scratching off a coating. These games are available at retailers and self-service terminals.

All lottery prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing. The North Dakota Lottery also has a number of second chance promotions, in which players can enter non-winning tickets for a chance to win additional prizes.
